Talyllyn Archives : Talyllyn Railway by Graham Whistler 1991
Talyllyn Archives : Talyllyn Railway Graham Whistler Productions 1991
High quality production filmed over the 40th anniversary of Preservation celebrations many of the highlights including No2 Dolgoch in 1950's livery and No 4 Edward Thomas running in the distinctive red livery of Peter Sam in the Rev. W Awdry stories that the line inspired. There is also plenty of linesdie film along with a driver's eye view of the route and passing trains. The DVD concludes with the naming of the then new loco No. 7 Tom Rolt.
Digitally remastered in 2004 this film remains an interesting record of the Talyllyn Railway filmed at a busy point in the Railway's history and forms part of the Talyllyn Archive collection released as part of our 150th anniversary celebrations.
